For my Digital Design Studio course, I had to create a motion graphics sequence from scratch. First, I created the graphics in Adobe Illustrator. After creating all of the graphics I need in that step, I imported them into Adobe After Effects and started creating a motion graphics sequence. Adobe After Effects was completely new to me so I had watched numerous tutorials on YouTube and Lynda.com to help create the final product.
The animation is intended to show a crying baby that is upset at the beginning. The mother tries everything to cheer the baby up but nothing works. Then, she opens the card she received saying, " To the new parents, congratulations on your little one!". The baby cheers up and starts laughing.
